I’m Dragos Gherlac, a chef whose journey began at the very bottom of the kitchen ladder—peeling, prepping, and learning every skill the hard but honest way. Through dedication, curiosity, and a relentless drive to improve, I’ve grown into my current role as Chef de Partie at Gallery61 in The Hague, a position I’ve proudly held for the past two years.
Recently, I graduated from the HORECA Academy in Rotterdam, earning my first diploma as a professional chef—a milestone that reflects years of persistence and passion.
My cooking blends tradition with creativity, always rooted in seasonal, locally inspired ingredients. Every plate is a chance to tell a story: where skill meets instinct, and where comfort meets a touch of refined flair.
